Meet the Tattoo Dream Team

Dale Moostoos
Dale has been a professional tattoo artist since 2014, creating custom designs that reflect the individuality and stories of his clients.

Art has always been a central part of Dale's life. He studied Fine Arts at Red Deer College, specializing in drawing, painting, and sculpture, which gave him a strong foundation for a career in tattooing. Having discovered tattooing in his early twenties Dale quickly realized it was the perfect way to combine his creative skills with his passion for connecting with people through art.

" My culture and heritage are an important part of who I am as an artist. I often draw inspiration from Indigenous teachings, symbolism, and a deep connection to the natural world, infusing these elements into many of my designs. For me, tattooing is more than just creating art, it’s about honoring stories, identities, and traditions in a meaningful way. "
When not tattooing, Dale enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new sources of inspiration. Opening Coyote Tail Tattoo has been one of the most rewarding milestones in his career, and Dale is so excited to share this journey with all of you.
" Thank you for trusting me with your ideas I look forward to creating something special with you. "
Cheyanne Marie Kot
Meet Cheyanne, a passionate and talented tattoo artist who has been tattooing full time since 2011. After completing the first year of a design program in college and then getting a diploma in accounting, she decided to ditch the spreadsheets and “stick it to the man,” choosing a path that let her fully embrace her first and forever love: art.
She’s got a killer range of styles, from folk art to bold blackwork and colour traditional to tiny minimal tats, delicate dotwork and fineline ornamental. Cheyanne also enjoys the challenge of bringing new life to old tattoos whether that means a full coverup, rework, add on or just straight blasting over. Whether you’re looking for something small and meaningful or a full-on masterpiece, she’s all about capturing your vibe, your story, and your soul through ink.
Born and raised in Edmonton, she draws daily inspiration from Alberta’s stunning natural beauty. When she’s not at her tattoo station, she’s with her best friend or doting on her many beloved dogs—her true ride-or-die companions. (The codependency is mutual.)
Despite her talents spanning many artistic disciplines, Cheyanne is laser-focused on tattoos, because, as she puts it: “Tats are life.” If you’re ready to throw down some fresh ink, she’s stoked to bring your ideas to life and make sure your next piece is straight fire.
Let’s create something amazing together!

Nancy Whalen
Shop apprentice
Nancy is just starting her tattoo apprenticeship journey and is a 15-year veteran of massage therapy who finally gave in to the universe’s relentless nudging to pick up a tattoo machine. Art has always been her passion and she is finally embracing her true calling: creating sick tats.
With no set style yet, Nancy’s all about the journey, drawing inspiration from your ideas to grow as an artist and create something uniquely you. She’s also a tarot reader, part-time philosopher, and full-time safe space for all kinds of people—unless you’re authority or her parents (she’s got strong opinions there).
Her world revolves around her walrus-like dog, a cat named Anakin, and her best friend, with whom she shares codependency issues. Oh, and her little sister? Apparently God’s gift to humanity, and you’ll definitely hear about it.
Loves sci-fi, fantasy, and sarcasm. Hates perfectionism but can’t help herself. Nancy’s here to bring your tattoo ideas to life—just don’t ask her to be normal about it.
